In this week’s sermon, we explored the story of Mephibosheth (2 Samuel 2, 4, 9) and the transforming power of God’s grace. Mephibosheth, once feeling worthless and forgotten, was invited to dine at King David’s table—not because of his merit, but because of grace. Like Mephibosheth, we often battle feelings of unworthiness, but God’s grace calls us to something greater.
When we resist God’s will in favor of our own plans, we create conflict within ourselves. But when we surrender to God’s grace, we find restoration, identity, and purpose. His grace doesn’t see our failures—it reclaims us as sons and daughters, giving us full access to the King.
At our church, we want to be a community that extends this same grace to others. Just as David sought to bless Mephibosheth, we are called to seek out those in need of kindness, love, and acceptance. God’s grace is active, not passive—it changes everything.
No matter where you come from or what you’ve been through, you are invited to the table. You are seen, loved, and welcomed. We’re glad you’re here.
