Blair Phibbs

Hi, my name is Blair and I've been in pastoral ministry for almost 30 years, spending most of those years in Ontario.  In August of 2017 my family and I moved to Campbell River where I started as the lead pastor of CLF.  My wife, Angela and I have been married for over 30 years and we have four amazing daughters together.

Over the last few years, God has consistently brought me back to John 15:1-17 and our need to abide or remain in Christ. We are the branch and He is the vine. God wants us to be fruitful, but it's not the kind of fruit we can produce on our own. It's only by staying close to Jesus that we will truly grow and become more like Jesus. I am regularly challenged by Jesus' words in verse 5 where he says, "Apart from me you can do nothing." 

Some of the things I enjoy are the NFL, playing squash, fishing, reading and spending time with my family.  I like to laugh, I like pie and I love Jesus.
